How optional consent will work
A transparent preview of the proposed service-SMS choice. No enrollment takes place on this page.
A preview of the proposed process
This document explains the planned website consent workflow. It is not an enrollment form: nothing can be entered or submitted here, and no permission is recorded. The live enrollment form is not yet available.
-
Reach MerchantCircuit
A website link, social-page link or QR code will lead to a MerchantCircuit inquiry page. Following a link or scanning a code will not grant messaging permission.
-
Provide inquiry details
The planned form asks for your name, business, phone, email, preferred language and inquiry. The service-SMS choice will appear next to that request, with visible links to these messaging terms and the privacy notice.
-
Choose optional service SMS
The checkbox will start unchecked. You can leave it unchecked and continue without SMS permission. The English and Spanish choice below uses the same wording planned for the form.
Illustration only — no enrollment
Unchecked by default. This illustration is not interactive and does not record a choice.
What will be recorded
When the enrollment form becomes available, submitting an inquiry will record the explicit yes/no choice together with that inquiry. A yes choice will record the SMS number, the exact disclosure version and language shown, and the time recorded by our system. An unchecked choice will record no SMS permission. A saved inquiry will not itself confirm that a text was sent or that someone has replied.
The original choice will remain associated with the original inquiry if its save status needs checking. A later opt-out will take precedence over an earlier opt-in. You will not be enrolled in marketing or WhatsApp by selecting service SMS.
Your choices after activation
Once the SMS program is active, reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance. Message frequency varies with your requests; message and data rates may apply. Consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase. Contact MerchantCircuit by email or voice call for questions while messaging is not yet active.
